Cannot use subAgents

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I’ve set up a subagent, but I just can’t trigger it no matter what I do. Even when I actively call it using a slash command, the main agent only retrieves the prompt, and the subagent window never pops up.I’ve confirmed that the subagent file has been generated in .cursor/agents, and the model and description have been configured

Steps to Reproduce

Create it with /create-subagent, and trigger the subagent either as required by its description or via a slash command.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Hey there!

Thanks for reporting this. Composer / Auto Mode (when Composer is the model being routed to) can’t call subagents. We’re working on fixing that right now! You may want to give some other models a try, if available to you.
