Can't skip MCP tool call

I think this is the result of a ‘deeper’ bug that I’ve described in this topic:

A new chat has no effect, this bug appears to be due to some kind of stall where the real instance is never materialised, so I’m left with the ‘dummy, unconfigured’ version of the card.
