In version 0.46.4 I’m unable to switch the chat type between the different modes.
OS: MacOS 15.3
Same problem on Windows 11, after today’s update
I had the same issue. Had to start a new chat which allowed me to switch mode. Have dumped the previous chat into the new one, but alas, now Claude isn’t responding.

That did it for me, I was continuing a chat from a prior version when it was broken
This fixed the problem for me, thanks. I had to write something in the “bugged” chat and then create a new one, that works normally.
