Checkbox not clickable on "Discard all changes up to this checkpoint" popup

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

It’s quite minor and non-breaking but clearly a code typo you’ll need to fix at some point. Not OS specific since I encountered it on Windows and Linux, on a brand new Cursor installation.
Basically on the “Discard all changes up to this checkpoint” popup the “Don’t ask again” checkbox does not change state to checked/unchecked when you click directly on it, but when you click on the text next to it.

Steps to Reproduce

get the popup “Discard all changes up to this checkpoint” after you click “return to checkpoint” in a conversation. Try to click the checkbox, you can’t, but oh the text is clickable and it changes the state of the checkbox lol!

Expected Behavior

The checkbox should change state when you click on it instead of the text next to it.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. The wrong click area for the “Don’t ask again” checkbox in the “Discard all changes up to this checkpoint” dialog is a known UI issue with click event handling in modal checkboxes.

We’re already tracking this. A similar bug was found in the close window dialog and confirmed by the team.

Related report: Close window confirmation has click listener problem

Temporary workaround: click the “Don’t ask again” text next to the checkbox instead of the checkbox itself.

I’ll pass this to the team for investigation.
