I like the new model. However, it still has the same issue as other agents. In 70% of cases it fails to call build tool for Unreal Engine. I switched from powershell to cmd.exe and provided exact command to call for build with absolute paths in the agent’s rules for the project. But it still fails. Does anyone know how to solve this? This slows down the process dramatically. Am a happy paying customer but this spoils the impression from the tool.

After spending an additional $200 this month alone, I’m feeling much more price-sensitive these days – especially when I have access to Codex as part of my OpenAI subscription. Personally, I’m beginning to see the 20% up-charge to be a bit steep. I love the Cursor product and the culture around it – but paying for the amount of the up-charge is beginning to lose its luster. I wish they had more pricing options.
I agree. I’ve spent just over $700 this month. I’ve stopped using the MAX mode. Too unreliable, too buggy and I’m getting charged for bogus responses. My emails to Cursor team are not being responded to.

Claude 4 is just a way to swallow as much tokens as possible. Instead of applying changes with best practices right away it keeps asking ridiculous questions and showing code examples so need to confirm and for one simple as before requests it can ask confirmation for 3 times in row before you strictly tell them to start implementing.
Total disaster, not recommended!!!
