Anthropic announced new higher rate limits for API and Pooling.
Does that give us an natural increase to our cursor ultra plan if we are just using Opus 4.7 as our main model?

Anthropic’s announcement is fantastic news for anyone using the Opus API, including Opus 4.7 in Cursor, since they’re raising API rate limits (requests/tokens per minute). In practice though, most day-to-day users won’t notice much: it mainly helps upstream capacity and availability (fewer “high load” hiccups), not how much you can spend.
Anthropic didn’t change per-token API pricing for Opus, so Cursor’s metering rates for Opus 4.7 are unchanged. If there are any changes to your Ultra plan we’d be sure to announce them!
