CLI to generate terminal commands

It would be great if Cursor could provide a CLI to generate a terminal command, similar to the GitHub Copilot CLI. I know I can use Cmd+K within Cursor to generate terminal commands, but I can’t use that if I’m using an external terminal application (like iTerm2).

Is it possible to manage the cursor via terminal?

I have a few thoughts about cost avoidance for an automation software demo. With an external system, I can get the prompts that I will write to cursor into my system, and with a separate software, maybe I can send these prompts to cursor. But I wanted to get ideas from you. Is there a known method to use cursor via terminal? As follows cursor composer/agent $FILES_PATH ‘prompt’ --Y (yes for all questions)

There’s a topic like this one. Yes, that’s what a lot of people want.

It would be great if one day the Cursor team implemented some kind of API to allow integration, then many people could just integrate all Cursor functionality directly into their programs and we could pay just for Cursor. For example, the authors of plugins for Obsidian.
I hope that one day this will happen…
