One feature or Cursor that has been a killer feature even tho it’s so simple is “Ask”. Today even the non-devs will ask me questions and I can plop into my local Cursor in Ask mode and get an answer faster than jumping around files.
We tried to give non-dev people Cursor Web access and they have tried to use it however, often it will take questions as tasks. “Why is X showing Y?” – “Good catch, let me fix that” lol
So the feature request would be allow non-devs to have access to Cursor Web but as non-committers. Ask only.
This is a great point! I agree, this would be very nice to have. We have an internal feature request tracking this, and I’ll keep you informed of updates.

Thanks for the follow up. Any suggestions on how to fix/improve this workflow? If we had it we could add all the non-devs to our cursor project (more paid subs!) but with it trying to commit things its not possible. Any suggestions appreciated! Otherwise we could maybe look at things like Claude Code or something.
