FYI - I found that another app (Loom) started intercepting cmd-shift-L. The keypress combo wasn’t even making it to the editor.
If you are on Mac and are experiencing this issue, I suggest downloading something like Shortcut Detective (from Irradiated Software) to help you track down the offending app and change the global shortcut.
