Code in agent response is shown as text mean only in white color, there is not any highlight. I have tested this with Solidity, Move and CVL(Certora Verification Language).
I have already requested help so much earlier but still it is not solved: Code is shown as text in newer version
@deanrie Please solve it , It is so uncomfortable

The bug appear in Cursor IDE.

Code in agent response is shown as text mean only in white color, there is not any highlight. I have tested this with Solidity, Move and CVL(Certora Verification Language).

I suggest that for every language it’s own block tags should be used and it must show colors and highlights

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a continuation of the same bug from the previous thread.

The team is aware of this issue. Syntax highlighting in chat responses for some languages (Solidity, Move, CVL) isn’t working in Cursor 2.0, even with the extensions installed. I’ve shared your repeat report with the team so it can be prioritized.

It is almost the 4 month of this issue but hasn’t been fixed, also as that thread was closed so I reopen new so to be solved for next version

Same for languages such as Verilog / SystemVerilog. This really makes it hard to read the answers in the agent chat.
