Collaborative Invitation: Expanding Comprehensive Development Rules for Cursor Users 🌟

Hello Cursor Community,

I’m thrilled to share something with you all—a repository filled with detailed development rules to manage Composer for various technologies and workflows, designed to integrate seamlessly with Cursor. As someone who is neither an engineer nor a seasoned tech expert, I’ve always dreamed of a tool that could bridge the gap between my ideas and my lack of technical expertise. Cursor has been that bridge for me, and I’m grateful to have this amazing platform.

To give back to this fantastic community, I’ve started a GitHub repository:
Raka-Saka/rules_cursor

This repository currently contains:

  • General Development Rules
  • Rust Development Best Practices
  • Node.js Development Rules
  • Docker and Kubernetes Guidelines
  • SQL/NoSQL Development Practices
  • Python for Data Science Rules
  • Frontend Development Guidelines (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte)
  • many more

Each document is roughly crafted, with guidance, some examples, and actionable insights to help cursor improve its workflow.

But this is just the beginning! :raised_hands: I’m inviting all of you—experts, learners, and dreamers—to collaborate on this repository. Let’s expand these documents, refine them, and add more languages, tools, and frameworks to make this a truly comprehensive resource for the Cursor community, it is not the same though as cursor directory because i noticed recently Cursor seems to have trouble with longer scripts, hence i thought that maybe splitting into smaller bits would help.

Whether you’re an experienced developer or someone like me, a torist somewhat, your contributions are welcome. Share your expertise, suggest improvements, or even create new entries.

Why collaborate?

  • Help fellow Cursor users unlock the tool’s full potential.
  • Build a community-driven resource we can all be proud of.
  • Learn from each other’s experiences and workflows.

If you’re interested, head over to Raka-Saka/rules_cursor, fork the repository, and start contributing!

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m excited to see what we can build together.

Best regards,
A Grateful Cursor Enthusiast (Not an engineer, just someone who loves what tools like Cursor make possible)
