I have an explicit “always on” rule instructing the agent to comment out code rather than delete it. It simply won’t comment out code, making it super challenging to fix the stuff it breaks. This particular issue has wasted like 24 hours of development time because Cursor agent keeps deleting too much and forgetting context.
