[Community Extension] MCP Server Refresh - Fix for Stuck MCP Servers in Cursor

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: MCP Server Refresh Extension - Never Get Stuck Again!

Hey Cursor community! :waving_hand:

I just released a simple but essential extension that solves a common frustration many of us face: MCP servers getting stuck and showing “Loading Tools…” forever. I have not made extensions before but thought it could come in handy for those who use lots of MCPs vibing out there!! Hope it works well for everyone!

:police_car_light: The Problem We All Know

  • MCP servers randomly stop responding

  • Stuck on “Loading Tools…”

  • Have to restart entire Cursor IDE

  • Breaks your workflow constantly

:white_check_mark: The Solution

I built a lightweight extension that adds refresh buttons right in Cursor’s interface:

  • Refresh All Servers - One click to restart everything

  • Individual Server Refresh - Target specific problematic servers

  • MCP Servers Panel - Monitor status and control servers easily
