Composer-1 Being "Free" Isn't True?

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I saw the message that “Composer-1” was free in the Cursor IDE and so I started using it. It said it was free for a limited time but didn’t say anything about when that “time” might expire. I figured I’d get a message when “free” stopped…but I didn’t. :-/ :frowning:

Suggest updating the message in-app to be more clear. I’ve hit my budget for the month only 1 day in and would not have been so free with my token usage if I’d known!

Steps to Reproduce

Use Composer-1 too much.

Operating System

Linux

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report.

Composer 1 was temporarily free for selected users as part of model testing. When the free period ended, the model started using your included usage at standard API rates.

I understand the message could’ve been clearer about the end of the free period - I’ll pass this feedback to the team.
