Clouds would not work with a specific model

I am just starting this model with cloud agent and it says always AI provider does not work

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Thanks for the report. Can you give it another try now, and if it still fails share the bc- ID from the URL of your cloud agent run?

Seeing this one every cloud agent using Composer 2 (web and desktop) rn:

“We are having difficulties reaching the AI provider. Retrying automatically…”

I’m out of API credits so not sure if this is an issue w/ other models

It’s every single one I have using Composer 2 (tested on Auto just now and had no issues). Here are 3 of the ones with issues, thank you!

Hi Cursor team,

I can’t use Composer 2 anymore. In agent chat I keep getting:
“We are having difficulties reaching the AI provider. Retrying automatically…”
This started early in the morning today. It happens every time, on all projects.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Cursor IDE
Open agent chat / Composer 2
Send a normal prompt
The message appears: “We are having difficulties reaching the AI provider. Retrying automatically…”

Expected Behavior

Composer 2 should respond normally.

Thanks, everyone, for the reports! I’ve escalated this to our devs. Will keep this thread updated.

In the meantime, you can try using a different model if available to you.

just want to boos this im getting the same error with my local remote agent. all other models work but composer 2
