Composer is fast, don't make it slow

Hello Cursor Team,

Just wanted to voice a perspective related to the product road map.

For me and a few other developers in my circle, speed is the competitive advantage of cursor over Claude Code; owing to the composer line of models.

I’ve been a user since the early “cheetah” days and it was a game-changer. Performance and accuracy improvements in the model are of course beneficial, but in terms of overall experience, I would choose speed over accuracy. Also, it would be great to introduce fast non-thinking variants back into the mix.

Hey, thanks for the feedback and for being a long-time user since the Cheetah days. Speed is definitely a core part of what makes Cursor’s agent experience great, so it’s good to hear it resonates.
