Describe the Bug

The cursor is stuck in an infinite loop, constantly saying that there is a problem with its code, but I don’t see any issues.

Steps to Reproduce

when you use composer agent

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Infinite loop of “I apologize for the difficulty with the edit” ?

I have this too unusable now.

I’m noticing that Composer switches from

  • Executing code (expected)
  • Suggesting changes (not expected)

^I just updated this morning, and am in composer “agent” mode

Exactly, hallucinating errors due to the new linter error it seems, or maybe just the new improvement for the agent. It was soooo good before the update but now it feels slow.
