Most of the time auto linting is nice but not always. Something it’s rather annoying and make the AI run in loops and destroy more than it helps. So if I could choose if I want Lint in Composer agent it would be very nice. Sometimes debug is the better choice for finding flaws. I find that Claude esp react better to that workflow.
I agree.
Auto lint is a great feature 70% of the time.
But 30% of the time it’s frustrating as it takes focus away from the thing I actually want to build/fix.

You can disable the linter in the Cursor settings. This will turn off automatic lint error corrections. Hope this helps.

Still it would be nice to have a on/off in the chat. Because I like to use Lint on/off.
