Conflicting keymappings for CMD+Y: How to resolve

I’d appreciate some help in unravelling these keymappings for CMD+Y on Cursor Mac, please. I believe these are default keymappings; if so, then this would most likely be a problem for all Mac users.

The issue here is that the bottom keymapping - pressing CMD+Y to accept a suggestion from the CMD+K AI prompt - is not being recognized at all. There seems to be a conflict with the top mapping, which provides a very similar feature for accepting AI code suggestions.

I can confirm that the CMD+N keymap to reject AI suggestions from the CMD+K prompt does indeed work.

Ideally, there is a WHEN-Expression that I can apply to fix these key bindings, but I’m having trouble finding where these are documented. I’d appreciate some help on what to do here. I think both keymappings should remain functional, but only for the contexts they were designed to apply for.

Thank you.

Hey, CMD+Enter is used to accept a CMD+K prompt by default.

I believe CMD+Y is used to accept the response a word at a time, a feature you can enable in your Cursor settings.

The bottom keybinding brings focus back to the chat in certain situations, but while CMD+K is open, the top keybinding takes priority.
