Describe the Bug

I’m using the 1M context model but this progress indicator from running /context shows info as if it’s the 300k model. You can see in the screenshot I’m on the 1M context setting.

Steps to Reproduce

Select Opus 4.8 1M and then run /context

Expected Behavior

Shows bar against 1M context budget.

Hi @jubi Thanks very much for reporting this. I’ve replicated this behavior and filed a bug report. We’ll keep you updated with any news on it.

Following up on this one, thanks for your patience. We’ve made a few changes to how the CLI handles the 1M context selection since you posted, which should address what you were seeing.

Could you give it a quick try on the latest CLI version?

  1. Select Opus 4.8 with the 1M context option
  2. Send a message, then run /context

If the bar now shows the 1M budget, no need to reply. If it still shows 300k, let me know which CLI version you’re on and I’ll take another look.
