Describe the Bug

When agent interrupted and then I press ‘continue-working’ all context seems lost like the long-running agentic work never happened. Even when half-way through a plan build – the agent cleared out the progress (checkmarks) from the plan file and suggested to start building the plan even though it was almost done.

Steps to Reproduce

Run a plan, interrupt the agent, then press continue working.

Expected Behavior

Cursor ‘continue-working’ used to be completely fine. it felt like it would pick up where it left off without any problems or context rebuilding needed.

Hey @rome, thanks for the detailed report! Resuming with Continue Working should pick up exactly where the agent left off, including plan progress, so what you’re describing isn’t how it’s meant to behave. Could you grab a Request ID from one of the affected chats and share it here?

In the meantime, if it loses its place again, typing a short follow-up like “continue from where you left off” instead of pressing the pill usually keeps the full context intact.
