my solution to solve this annoying thing was to paste the errors from cursor to a notepad … eliminate FIRST special chars like * > from the beginning of the line …and copy / paste it back in composer … works.
You should be able to paste with CMD / CTRL + Shift + V, as that should paste the raw text without any referencing to the file it came from (which is where the original report issues came from).
I’ll log that this is still an issue and we will hopefully get this fixed in a future update.

I was happy copying things to the composer and having them pasted as a reference, but now it doesn’t work anymore. When I paste with Cmd + V, it just pastes the raw content. Any idea how can I fix it?
Can you check which settings you have overridden from the defaults? There are some specific preferences around pasting that may have this effect.
It was fixed in the latest update. (I don’t know if the update had something to do with it but it got fixed 
)
