I have my own fun, and I have company projects. Every time I log out and log back in, it makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. Being able to log in to multiple accounts is perfectly fine.
Hey, thanks for the feature request. The request to use multiple accounts at the same time (personal + work) without constantly logging out and back in is one of the most popular ones on the forum, and we definitely know this pain. Right now it’s not supported, and it’s not on the near-term roadmap, so I can’t share a specific timeline.
As a workaround, different Cursor builds (Stable and Nightly) use separate data profiles. So you can sign in to each one with a different account and keep both open at the same time. Not perfect, but it avoids constant re-login.
If you want to add your vote to the biggest discussion on this topic, here’s the thread with the most votes: Seamless Account Switching in Cursor. The more signal there, the higher the chance the priority gets revisited.
