Describe the request

Instead of just Admin and Member roles add an additional role Member + Analytics. Allowing a user to go to the admin dashboard area and view the overview, analytics, usage and conversation insights. This is good for adoption engineers while still keeping the number admins small and Audit is happy.

Hey Brad!

Instead of a new role, have you considered ticking off “Restrict Analytics to Admins”

It would expose analytics to more than just an adoption engineer, but wouldn’t expose any additional admin privileges!

Yes we have this turned off which is great and all it allows a user to see their metrics but it is not what I am looking for.
I want a role that I can grant to AI Coaches and Product Directors etc that allows them to see metrics on their team or the company at large without making them an admin on the entire dashboard. This will help us to stay in compliance by not allowing 50 admins on the dashboard.

I am also looking for this type of role for my team/enterprise. It would be good to allow certain non-admin users the ability to see the usage and analytics of other members or teams within our enterprise. The switch mentioned above is not really useful in this regard nor is granting full admin rights.

+1 on this — the current setup is too restrictive for day-to-day team management.

We’re on a Teams plan and want team members (not just admins) to understand how Cursor is being used across the team: usage limits, on-demand spend, and adoption. Today the options feel binary:

  1. Member — can only see their own usage and the Usage Leaderboard (top 10). No team-wide spend or per-member breakdown.
  2. Admin / Unpaid Admin — full access, but granting admin privileges just to view analytics is overkill and raises security/compliance concerns.

What we’d like:

  • A dedicated Analytics Viewer role (or “Member + Analytics”) that can access the analytics dashboard, team-wide usage, and per-member spend without billing, member management, or security settings access.
  • Show both individual and team-level on-demand spend in the dashboard/IDE, so people aren’t surprised when the team hits a monthly limit.
  • A clearer remaining budget / usage progress view that all team members can see.

Transparency around usage shouldn’t require handing out admin keys or manually exporting CSVs.
