Current file not added to context

After some time of working with my repo, Cursor stopped adding the currently open file to the chat context.

This might be a red herring, but I noticed this after I used the “whole codebase” context a couple of times.

The “Default no context” option is off. I tried turning it on and off again but this didn’t help. Closing the chat window or restarting Cursor doesn’t help either.

Thanks for reporting this. Does pressing the “+” in the top right corner bring it back?

Yes, indeed, creating a new chat did bring it back. Thanks!
