Curson don’t complete the task, I have to say always yes

Describe the Bug

I give a task to do to cursor, I tried each model and it does it with any. He explains to me how he wants to do a task and divides it into steps and create a todo list. Start implementing a step, here he asks me questions about questions about questions like “now I modify this” but he doesn’t modify it, and I have to write okay to make it proceed, often even if I write okay he rewrites me again “now I’ll proceed and it doesn’t do anything”, and I write okay, yes, okay.
And is very annoying write okay 20 times for a step, he should complete a step in the todo list alone without stupid questions or my confirm for every stupid thing.

Steps to Reproduce

I don’t know, just use it.

Expected Behavior

I give a task and he start to developing from the start to the end.
At max I expect he finish the step on the todo, and I say ok to do the other step.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, which model are you using? Also, maybe you have certain rules in your project.

Nothing rule, this behavior is with every model, auto, gemini 2.5 pro, grok 4, gpt4.1, i tried it.

Have you also tried this in new chats? It might happen when you switch models within a single chat, which could also be the cause. You can also create rules to specify that the model should never ask for your confirmation.

yes i did, and i said also to never ask for confirmation, and he still do it.
