This looks like a related issue with Plan Mode. There are a few reports about hangs and crashes while working with plans: The IDE fully hangs when outputting a Plan
To figure out what’s going on, we’ll need a bit more info:
- The Request ID from the stuck chat (chat context menu in the top right > Copy Request ID)
- Can you open Developer Tools (Help > Toggle Developer Tools). Do you see any Console errors when the agent gets stuck?
- Rough size of the codebase, about how many files?
- Does it reproduce in a new empty project, or only in this one?
About credits: if requests got stuck and didn’t finish, they usually aren’t charged, but with the Request ID we can check more accurately.
