Cursor 3: Where are the checkpoints?

Hi,
I simply can´t find the checkpoints to reverse code changes in this new version.
Where do i find them?

Hey, thanks for the request.

Checkpoints in Cursor 3 work the same as before. They’re created automatically on every prompt when the agent makes code changes. You can find them right in the agent chat:

  1. Hover over any of your previous messages in the agent chat
  2. You’ll see a restore or revert icon with a back arrow. Click it
  3. Cursor will roll back all file changes to how things were at the time of that prompt

If you don’t see the icon when you hover, send a screenshot of the agent panel and we’ll take a look at what’s going on. Also, what exact Cursor version are you on Help > About.
