I am working with Cursor AI and facing a limitation when uploading images. Currently, it is only possible to upload 1 image per query. This creates significant workflow problems when working with design projects or when needing to compare multiple screenshots.
Information about my system: RTX 3060, 32 GB RAM, core-i510500h, 2TB SSD;
Try uploading multiple images in one Cursor AI query - the interface only allows selecting one file at a time without the option for multiple selection.
This limitation does not prevent the use of Cursor, but significantly reduces efficiency for design-related tasks and any workflow requiring comparison of multiple visual references.
Additional context: When working on design projects, I often need to provide multiple reference images (sometimes more than 10 screenshots) to get appropriate recommendations from AI. With the current limitation of one image per query:
- I am forced to use several separate queries, which depletes my query limit faster
- Context is lost between queries, as Cursor AI does not maintain full context across separate image uploads
- The workflow becomes inefficient when the AI cannot see all reference materials simultaneously
Feature request: Please consider implementing a multiple image upload function in the Cursor AI integration, allowing users to provide multiple visual references in a single query.
