Cursor attempts to apply a generation, crashes (classic vscode crash), bills for generation, then re-opens before the charge occured

I will rinse/repeat until I get a non-crash because it’s easier to pay for the tool call than it is to re-establish context but it’s pretty annoying.

In the case mentioned here it took me 5 tries to get the impact I wanted. The changes applied and Cursor promptly crashed, taking half the chat recording changes with it. But I got my update for 5x the cost I should have paid.

Opened a new chat and continued on my next task.
