I was trying to setup a Cursor Automations where the trigger is a Linear issue creation in a particular project. I am doing this from the UI and here is a reference screenshot to help identify what I am trying to do:
I can of course, select a project and things do work as expected. But we would want this single automation to work for multiple projects. But as expected the workspace starts with the selected repo in the trigger.
I tried to steer it using the automation prompt, but it doesn’t switch project, which is kind of obvious since the workspace is setup much before.
So how can I achieve, the functionality where I can use the same automation for different projects. The problem with replicating same automation for different Github projects in the trigger is that since the Linear issue trigger is same, every automation runs and later quits realising the workspace project is different which is wasteful.
Let me know if there are some intelligent workarounds.
