Cursor CLI - Custom endpoint and api key support

In the cursor IDE, it’s currently possible to use a custom OpenAI API key and a custom URL for OpenAI API requests. Will this feature also come to the cursor CLI?

There is an --endpoint & --api-key parameter, but I haven’t been able to make it work with my personal OpenAI API key.

Would love to have this supported. Really important when using LLM gateways and self-hosting background agents.

yeah, same here - it seems there currently is no way to have the cli use other models (like Kimi 2 via Openrouter), which is a pity…
