Same here. On linux, same cursor-agent version.
Suddenly stopped working in my existing chat using GPT-5.
Tried opening new chat and switching model - same issue.
Cursor IDE works perfectly fine.

Exactly the same problem here. Happened out of nowhere, tested several prompts, upgraded to latest cursor-agent cli and tried rebooting the machine as well (just in case). Keeps doing exactly the same, and for those of you who had it for 4 days and no replies from Cursor staff? That’s… odd.
@condor
Pretty sure I did run that /feedback command as well. However, the update command today seems to have resolved that problem… and cleared out the complete chat history as well from my one and only large CLI project. Rough weekend.
PS. Oh, and it seems to have randomly started to ask for permission for some commands despite being in “auto-run mode”.
Im also facing same issue
Using mac os , Updated CLI ,Cursor to latest
Sent feedback also
Nothing worked
Is there any solution?
Please let me know if any solution has been found
Sorry for the late reply. I had not updated Cursor IDE. I was running Cursor CLI on a Ubuntu server without GUI, and never connected to it from the IDE. It was the CLI just clearing out the conversation history completely after updating.
I have seen this behavior where you are out of limits. It is kind of abrupt, instead of saying, you are out of credits try x,y,z it just terminates input and does nothing.

Would be nice to have some feedback on what is going wrong. I had to go to my usage page to find out that it had errored, but that still didn’t give me any clue as to why.
