The last announcement about cursor cli they mention we now can keep use our IDEs like JetBrains with cursor, but I’m still not sure how they expect us to keep use it? from the cli?

Yes Cursor CLI is running as cursor-agent in any terminal. That means you can continue to use Cursor Agents in any IDE of your preference.
