Hey, thanks for the report. The getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND agent.api5.cursor.sh error means there’s a DNS resolution issue. This is a known problem caused by a misconfigured SSL setup on the Cloudflare CDN.
Similar reports:
- Getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND agent.api5.cursor.sh [unavailable]
- Http2 network error with cursor ide and cursor-cli
For now, please try:
- Change your DNS to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1) or Quad9 (149.112.112.112) in your network settings. Google DNS 8.8.8.8 can route to an incorrect Cloudflare CDN IP.
- Toggle your VPN on or off. In the Jan 8 thread, this fixed it for some users.
- Try a different network, like a mobile hotspot.
- In Cursor, go to Settings > Network and switch from HTTP/2 to HTTP/1.1 or HTTP/1.0.
Please keep an eye on updates in the linked thread.
