Cursor Crashing Issue While Using Chat Feature

Description: I’ve encountered an issue where my cursor freezes or crashes while using the chat feature in [specify app or browser if applicable]. This occurs intermittently, making it difficult to navigate or interact with other elements on my screen.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the chat feature.
  2. Start typing or interacting within the chat window.
  3. After a few moments, the cursor freezes or becomes unresponsive.

Expected Behavior: The cursor should remain functional and responsive throughout the use of the chat feature.

Actual Behavior: The cursor freezes or crashes intermittently during chat use, requiring me to restart or wait for it to recover.

System Information:

  • OS: Ubuntu 24.4
  • App: Using AppImage

Hey @hedaetul

Can you check the memory usage? Maybe Cursor is using a lot of resources because of various plugins. I recommend checking the processes here:
