Cursor crashing with error code 5

Thanks for reporting this.
Quick checks:

  1. Do you use a corporate VPN or proxy (especially Zscaler)? A similar issue was caused by network tools intercepting api.cursor.sh traffic
  2. Try launching with cursor --disable-extensions from terminal - does it still crash?
  3. Test on a simple/empty project

Please share any steps to reproduce (does it crash immediately on launch, or some other condition)
