Hey,

Cursor keeps crashing for me with this message: The window terminated unexpectedly (reason: ‘crashed’, code: ‘5’)

Anyone else seeing this? Any resolution?

Hey, try clearing the cache, it should solve your problem. If not, try completely reinstalling Cursor by following these guides:

Same issue on Mac as well, but started after upgrade just now on Feb 23, believe upgrade to 0.45. Right now I can’t even check version number because it keeps crashing on me with this exact error code.

Same; started today. Deleted extensions - nope. Reinstalled - looked ok - went to get a coffee (no input from me yet) - crashed…

Did you manage to resolve this. I just upgraded and have the same issue. can’t connect to any workspaces. just get the terminated unexpectedly crashed code ‘5’

I have the same issue, with every other request to Sonnet 3.7.
latest os and latest version 0.46

i think it’s because Sonnet 3.7 allows large context and the Cursor can’t digest the response. For me, it fails in most responses from sonnet that are not saved and crashed halfway
