I’ve been having the same issue. The only fix I’ve had success with is installing the older version of Cursor (0.45.15)

i have the same issue as of Feb 24. 3MAX OS latest. works extremely slow and crashes on every other request.

I was finally able to fix, by doing a clean install of Cursor. I had to delete all the cursor files in /Library/Application Support/Cursor and redownload the application installer. Then I updated to the newest version before opening my project I had been working on. So far it is now working.

I have the same issue. I cleared cache yet it didnt fix.

Thanks for the advice! I have done the same, hope it works. Almost ready to throw something at something…

In case anyone else has the issue. I cleared VSCode cache and then upgraded cursor. Not seen the issue again so far.

I’m having the same issue as well. Cursor has become unusable since a few days.

Same issue here on Windows, Cursor hasn’t worked well for me since the 46 release. As far as I can tell, No official fix from Cursor

Hey everyone,

I’ve been experiencing constant crashes while using Cursor ever since the latest update. I’m on an Apple M4 Mac Mini (24GB RAM) running macOS Sequoia 15.3.1, and before this update, everything was working just fine. Now, the app crashes almost every second, making it completely unusable.

Even trying to report the issue within Cursor causes it to crash repeatedly. I’ve checked with friends who also have M4 Mac Minis, and they are facing the same problem, so it looks like a broader issue.
