Cursor keeps crashing on me

Thanks for reporting a bug you have found in Cursor!
Please add the following info to help us diagnose your issue:

It started around 3:20 this afternoon. When I typed a message, Cursor would open a dialog window asking me to reopen, close or keep waiting. Regardless of what option I choose, it keeps doing this. I restarted my computer and still the same thing. I’m on MacBook. I’m using the latest version.

I have the same issue

My instance crashed last night and this morning I can’t restart.

Hey, I believe we fixed this in version 0.49.6. Please update and let me know if your issue isn’t resolved.

I am using 0.49.6 and I cannot use the app at all. At first I thought an extension “SpecStory” had caused it but I fully uninstalled both extension and Cursor, restarted, run Onyx on my Mac (all maintenance tasks) and it is still happening. Honestly, more frequent than before the Cursor update. I am using a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1). I am on deadline with a great deal riding on it and this is driving me insane (to be fair I was close before this), in any case it is very frustrating and any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Same here, but on win11.
