Cursor GitHub application requests write access

:waving_hand: hey, GitHub org admin for KubeVirt org here (kubevirt.io / KubeVirt · GitHub). Recently I got a user request to install the Cursor GitHub application. I didn’t install it since it required write access.

I am curious now: why would the application require write access to repository issues, pull requests etc? I believe it to be a bridge towards cursor ide users, but how?
