Cursor inline suggestions block hyphen

I’m using cursor AI on a windows computer. When an inline suggestion is made and previewed, I can’t type the hyphen (-) key to ignore the suggestion and just type my own text. I have to press escape then hyphen. This isn’t the case for other characters. Why is that? Can I change it?

Hey, sorry about this! Can’t speak on the reason, but as a workaround for now, you should be able to hit Escape to reject a Tab suggestion before trying to type a hyphen.

I’ve added this to our internal bug log, so will hopefully see a fix for this in a future update!

Hi Dan, thanks for your message. I’m afraid this was an example of user error (oh no!) I didn’t want to use the “accept next word” suggestion so I changed the keystroke to something I thought I’d never use… which started with a hyphen. Facepalm. I deleted the keystroke and now it’s back to normal.
