Cursor is down — the agent terminal isn’t working. Perguntar ao ChatGPT

Describe the Bug

I’m in Japan, and ever since I updated Cursor to the latest version, I haven’t been able to use the right-hand agent window — it just “blinks” but nothing happens when I try to run a command.
I contacted support by email, but all I get are basic questions, and in the end, they just say they’ll forward it to the responsible team — basically, a waste of time.

I’m a paying user, but honestly, it feels like there’s no difference between paying and using it for free.

Steps to Reproduce

All it takes is sending a command to the agent — but even that doesn’t work.

Expected Behavior

I expect the agent to receive the code and execute it — that’s the bare minimum.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

The Cursor team are extremely busy and its definitely not a waste of time, your email will get answered.

The mods will also see this and report back to you when they can. @deanrie

As for Cursor being down, its not down as I am currently using it and it is working fine, however some users may be experiencing issues that others arent. What models are you using?

Was this happening with a previous version?

Hey, thanks for the report. Are you using a VPN, proxy, or any software that controls your internet? Try running a network diagnostic in the network settings under the Network tab. Also, I see you’re using auto mode, try switching to a specific model, like Claude.
