I can’t even scroll properly, it lags and lags. What’s going on! I close all tabs. I have to move back to vscode if this keeps up. So frustrating.
Hey, can you check what’s happening with Cursor in your Task Manager or Activity Monitor?
This board is full of extreme lagging reports since at least March of 2024, but yet no solution.
I’m using a mac and I can say after a Mac OS update, cursor works as it should for a day or so before the extreme lag, which makes the product very painful to use, returns.
Is there any progress on a real solution? None of the “start in safe mode” suggestion nonsense works. Some threads say start a new composer conversation, but the OS update has to be a huge clue as to what the root cause of the issue is. Please fix this. The lag makes typing so painful.
How does one start a new composer conversation? I’ll try that since the product is too unusable in lag mode, which is it’s normal mode now.
Any updates regarding the very painful lag using the cursor app on a Mac? Please fix this. It’s very difficult to use the product when app response is 3 or 4 seconds behind keyboard strokes. A good, root cause addressing solution will be very welcome.
