I checked the Cursor community forum and couldn’t find this exact issue reported.

While using Cursor, I frequently encounter an “overloaded” error message that disrupts my workflow. This happens regardless of how long I wait or which model I switch to (tried multiple options). The error makes it nearly impossible to write code or proceed with tasks.

  1. Open any project in Cursor.
  2. Attempt to write code or request assistance.
  3. After a short period, the “overloaded” error appears.
  4. Switching models or waiting several minutes does not resolve the issue.
