Describe the request
When I used the Sunnarzuing feature of Cursor, I discovered a serious flaw. Due to the summarization compressing the content, the original code structure in the context was disrupted. If the model generates code replacement blocks based on the summarized content, it often encounters the error message “The string to replace was not found in the file”. Important code content should not be compressed.
Therefore, I believe that instead of directly summarizing the entire preceding text, using the content editing method to remove outdated content, old tool calls, and other information while fully retaining important code blocks and other elements is a better choice. What do you think? Users and members of the Cursor team.
