Cursor opening external links on chrome even if it's not my default browser

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I have cursor Appimage installed, and my default browser is zen.
When i don’t have any other browser installed then it works perfectly and opens the links on zen browser, but if i have chrome installed, then it completely ignores my default browser and opens the links on chrome.

Steps to Reproduce

Install Cursor AppImage
Install zen from flatpak
Install chrome from flatpak
set zen as default
open the link from cursor

Operating System

Linux

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.7.33
VSCode Version: 1.99.3

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
