Cursor --remote ssh-remote open undesired cli agent

what used to work well

cursor --remote ssh-remote+<remote_name> <remote_path>

This used to open the IDE on my remote machine.
Same behavior as vscode.
I open multiple remote path daily, this feature is important as a quick shortcut instead of clicking trough UI.

what is the regression with the latest cursor version 1.6.14

the above command now open an undesired cli based cursor agent.
Please give us a setting to bring back the old behavior.

Steps to Reproduce

cd above

Operating System

MacOS host connecting to a linux remote

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

1.6.14 …

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hi, could you try upgrading to version 1.6.26 of Cursor? There was a regression in earlier versions that should now be fixed.
