Cursor request quota suddenly changed from 500 to 2000 — what does this actually mean?

same here

Hey everyone, sorry about the confusion here!

This is a display bug on the settings page introduced by a code change yesterday. The number “2000” you’re seeing is actually a dollar amount in cents ($20.00) being incorrectly shown as a request count — your actual included request limit (500) has not changed, and enforcement is unaffected.

This has been reported to the team and is being tracked internally!

To be clear: your plan limits have not changed, and you are not being charged differently. This is purely a UI issue on the settings page.

Its fixed. Cheers, Colin.

Aside: thanks to another thread, I learned that the low/medium/high switching is actually now combined inside an “Edit” link in the model-selector drop-down. The same for the “Fast” toggle.

That’s definitely cleaner! But it was frustrating that the update didn’t remember my selected reasoning level.
