I use the Claude 3.5 model and it takes 3-4 minutes for a request to process. this is painful.

Excluding purchasing more fast requests, my best recommend would be to use a different model family, if you are facing high queue times with Claude models, as they should have much lower queues.

It has really gotten bad in the past month or so. I remember slow requests taking 15-30 seconds to process and 30 seconds being at the slow end. But even modifying code. now it takes me about 3 minutes to adjust one simple line out maybe 1-2k lines. Makes me want to switch to bolt or WS ide. Their slow requests are not nearly as bad… Which is unfortunate since I really like Cursor.

Hey, the more you use the slow pool, the slower it gets, unfortunately.

If you do not want to purchase more fast requests, you can probably use DeepSeek v3 in normal composer (agent coming soon), as this is a non-premium model and therefore doesn’t have a queue or usage limits.
